An opportunity exists for a Development Manager for our Monash Business School, in collaboration with the External Relations, Development and Alumni portfolio (ERDA). In this position you will be instrumental in contributing to the ERDA team’s objectives through developing and implementing comprehensive donor engagement plans, and delivering fundraising programs, for the Monash Business School.
As the Development Manager, you will build and sustain genuine relationships with donors, cultivating contributions through a variety of targeted strategies, programs and activities.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a higher education sector, preferably, and an extensive background in fundraising, including leading, managing and delivering strategic fundraising activities. We are seeking an individual with outstanding written communication and interpersonal skills, including a high level ability to effectively consult and negotiate with donors.
Our ideal candidate will be able to identify, develop and utilise relations between potential donors and fundraising goals in order to achieve best possible outcomes for the University.
